Martin Singer obtained an BSc in Biology and Medical Laboratory Research at the Inholland University of Applied Sciences in Alkmaar and Amsterdam. He went on to do an MSc study in Biomedical Research at the VU University in Amsterdam. In the period of 2011 to 2015 he has worked at the Laboratory of Immunogenetics at the VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam, focusing on the genetic markers for severity of H. ducreyi infections as well as genome analysis of microbes responsible for bacterial urogenital infections. He joined the TubaScan team as a researcher and PhD student in 2015.
